Roots of this congregation go back to 1914 when Rev. Alfred Hendrickson began services in Wolf Point on a monthly basis. In 1917 a Lutheran congregation was started with Hendrickson as the first pastor, and in 1919 the congregation was formally organized and ground was broken for a church.
